【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverstationaryenginegeneratorassembliesrated600voltsorlessthatareintendedforinstallationanduseinordinarylocationsinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCodeNFPA-70;theStandardfortheInstallationandUseofStationaryCombustionEnginesandGasTurbines,NFPA-37,theStandardforHealthCareFacilities,NFPA-99,andtheStandardforEmergencyandStandbyPowerSystems,NFPA-110.1.2Theserequirementsdonotcovergeneratorsforuseinhazardous(Classified)locations.ThatEquipmentiscoveredbytheStandardforElectricMotorsandGeneratorsforHazardous(Classified)Locations,UL674.1.3TheserequirementsdonotcoverUPSequipment.ThatequipmentiscoveredbytheStandardforUninterruptiblePowerSupplyEquipment,UL1778.1.4Theserequirementsdonotcovergeneratorsformarineuse.ThatequipmentiscoveredbytheStandardforMarineElectricMotorsandGenerators,UL1112.1.5Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolvesariskoffireorofelectricshockorinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandarddoesnotcomplywiththisstandard.Revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
