【摘要】:?1.1Thispracticeprovidesinstructionsformodifyingstaticbearingtestmethodstodeterminethefatiguebehaviorofcompositematerialssubjectedtocyclicbearingforces.Thecompositematerialformsarelimitedtocontinuous-fiberrein-forcedpolymermatrixcompositesinwhichthelaminateisbothsymmetricandbalancedwithrespecttothetestdirection.Therangeofacceptabletestlaminatesandthicknessesaredescribedin8.2.1.2ThispracticesupplementsTestMethodD5961/D5961Mwithprovisionsfortestingspecimensundercyclicloading.Severalimportanttestspecimenparameters(forexample,fastenerselection,fastenerinstallationmethod,andfatigueforce/stressratio)arenotmandatedbythispractice;however,repeatableresultsrequirethattheseparametersbespecifiedandreported.1.3Thispracticeislimitedtotestspecimenssubjectedtoconstantamplitudeuniaxialloading,wherethemachineiscontrolledsothatthetestspecimenissubjectedtorepetitiveconstantamplitudeforce(stress)cycles.Eitherengineeringstressorappliedforcemaybeusedasaconstantamplitudefatiguevariable.Therepetitiveloadingsmaybetensile,compressive,orreversed,dependinguponthetestspecimenandprocedureutilized.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
