【摘要】:Theenergyinputratetestisusedtoconfirmthatthepoweredsinkisoperatingproperlypriortofurthertesting.Preheatenergyandtimecanbeusefultofoodserviceoperatorstomanagepowerdemandsandtoknowhowquicklythepoweredsinkcanbereadyforoperationwhenfilledwithcoldwater.Note28212;Itistypicallyrecommendedthatpoweredsinksbefilledwithhotwaterpriortouse.Thistestisusefulforoperationsthathavealimitedsupplyofdomestichotwaterandwouldneedtousecoldwatertofillthesinktocapacity.Idleenergyrateandpilotenergyratecanbeusedtoestimateenergyconsumptionduringstandbyperiods.Washingcycleenergyconsumptioncanbeusedbythefoodserviceoperatortoestimateenergyconsumptionduringoperatingperiods.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatestheenergyconsumptionofpoweredopenwarewashingsinks.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusetheseteststoevaluateandselectasuitablewashingdeviceandunderstanditsenergyconsumption.1.2Thistestmethodappliestopoweredopenwarewashingsinks(poweredsinks)withthefollowingcharacteristics:alargemainwatersinkwithelectricallypoweredwaterpump(s)andmultiplehighflowwaternozzles.Theunitmayincludegasorelectricheaterstomaintainwatertemperature.Thesepoweredsinksaredesignedtorunforpredeterminedcycledurationandaccommodatepotsandpansofvariousshapesandsizesaswellascookingutensils.Theyareintendedforstandaloneuseandrequirelittlesupervision.Thepoweredsinkwillbetestedforthefollowing(whereapplicable):1.2.1Maximumenergyinputrate(10.2),1.2.2Preheatenergyconsumptionandduration(10.3,1.2.3Idleenergyrate(10.4),1.2.4Pilotenergyrate,ifapplicable(10.5),and1.2.5Washingcycleenergyconsumption(10.6).Note18212;Thistestmethodappliesonlytothepoweredportionoftheunit.Othercompartments(sanitizing,rinsing,andsoforth)arenotevaluated.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
