【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetimefromtheinitialmixingofthereactantsofathermosettingplasticcompositiontothetimewhensolidificationcommences,underconditionsapproximatingtheconditionsofuse.Thistestmethodalsoprovidesameansformeasuringthemaximumtemperaturereachedbyareactingthermosettingplasticcomposition,aswellasthetimefrominitialmixingtothetimewhenthispeakexothermictemperatureisreached.Thistestmethodislimitedtoreactingmixturesexhibitinggeltimesgreaterthan5min.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
