【摘要】:Thisstandardestablishes(1)Americanpracticefortheconstructionofspindlenosesforhorizontalboringmachinesbyshowinganumberoftypesofsuchconstruction,(2)theimportantdimensionsforself-holdingandsteepmachinetapersaswellasdrivekeys,drawbolts,driftandkeeperkeyslots,boltcirclesforfacemountingofmillingcutters,etc.,(3)thecorrespondingdimensionsforthetapershanksforconstructionoftools(boringbars,arbors,etc.)tofitthespindlenosetapers.Thepurposeofsuchconstructionistoprovideanaccuratelymachinedstockettolocatetoolswithmeanstopositivelyholdtheminpositionsinthespindleaswellaswithmeanstopositivelydrivethetools.
